Verify that Root and subsequent run sequence is done in accordance to the requirements of approved WPS & procedures.

Material Receiving for Filler metals, fluxes and shielding gases use are correct in accordance to the requirements of approved WPS & procedures.

Verify that Welding is in compliance with approved weld procedure and applicable standard.

Verify that that only welders approved for the project are allowed to weld.

Prepare / Review / Witness of PQR, WPS & Procedure.

Witness for welder qualifications (WQT).

Monitoring & control welding consumables and handling system.

Monitor NDT results and make recommendations/ instructions for the proper repair/ modifications required as per standard.

Monitoring the welder’s performance through repair, controlling / revocation of Job Clearance Card (JCC)of welders
