Senior Technologist, Agha Khan University Hospital JAN 2019 – Present

Assist in running College of American Pathologist (CAP) surveys, linearity, and correlations.

Perform 300+ patient routine diagnostic testing (daily) using techniques and instruments, as per CAP protocols for specimen handling and processing.

Conduct Lupus, Thrombophilia screening and all blood factors on analyzer with different principles.

Perform routine and special coagulation tests: PT/APTT, D-dimer, Fibrinogen level, bleeding time, Clotting time, FDP, HPF4A, platelet aggregation/platelet function assay and Intrinsic factor antibody.

Implement special testing techniques on Hematological analyzer, Body fluids, and microscopy to identify abnormal cells such as type of cancers and different bacteria and parasites.

Support hospital’s research on demographic factors such as gender, age, ethnicity, and geographical regions, etc., by analyzing large datasets to identify the root cause of various diseases, rollout & effectiveness of medicines, and other factors such as side effects to develop effective and cost-efficient treatment strategies.
