I am a Technologist. Passionate about financial inclusion and living by the philosophy of Ubuntu. I am improving lives through technology. I was Co Founder and CTO of Fri. A high impact financial technology startup in Guatemala, such as Zelle in the US. Named Innovator under 35, Central America 2016. The most prestigious recognition worldwide bestowed by MIT Technology Review.

I started my programming career in 2005 and over time I have participated in different roles and developed new skills in UI/UX, research and managing various stacks.

Pets.love & Petcoin.love

Petcoin.love is a web3 token over the polygon chain with the purpose to bring transparency in the donation pet world. And pets.love is a Pet ecosystem that connects an e-commerce site with related pet services where you can buy and donate for your local shelter to save pets lives. My contribution was a complete UI/UX redesign using Figma. I develop all frontends using a next.js stack and tailwind. Backend with angular, nest js and mongodb. Implement integrations with Magic auth, uniswap and some solidity contributions in the smart contracts to get the transactional reflections. Contento

Contento was a fintech startup focused on facilitating access to financial services for hispanic people in the US through their origin countries. For two years I dedicated myself to conducting field research to understand the needs of Hispanics in the United States, your behavior of consumption and identify their level of digital literacy. Create small communities in the cities of America with the most Hispanic immigrants and design a plan to minimize friction in the adoption of a technological solution based on blockchain. I was co-founder and CTO in the most important fintech company in Central America, one of the 40 best ideas in the world By IDB and Startup Nations Summit in 2014 and World Challenge Cup Regional Winner LATAM by 1776.vc in 2016. I took my exit in 2018 for personal reasons. The stack used on this project is Angular with firebase and bootstrap.
