I was invited to visit the corporate headquarters for Becton-Dickinson in San Diego California to participate in career-building training in the biomedical engineering field of Infusion-pump testing and repair.

I worked with the Alaris infusion pumps and various configurations as found in the hospital/patient environment.

Tech Customer Support Specialist Academic Technology Specialist Emory School of Medicine IT services Decatur, Georgia Working to support all SIM technology which included the Human Simulated Education Center and the various simulators used by medical professionals to enhance the medical education at the medical school. This included trouble-shooting the robotic mannequins for pediatric and adult simulations. This included remote viewing of simulated sessions and monitoring of video cameras and network connections for the various equipment. Responsible for supporting the helpdesk at the medical school with incoming requests for service from faculty and students.

Updated a database for known and new scenarios as they arose in ticketing. Responsible for routing the tickets to the appropriate technicians in the field using ServiceNow software.

Received incoming calls at the helpdesk and created and dispatched tickets in ServiceNow.
