Motivational statement
-I am an Expert Pharmacist and a medical supply officer with a total of 16 years’ of experience in Ethiopia: managing pharmaceutical activities at Adama Hospital Medical College, managing a wholesale distribution, a pharmaceutical import and manufacturing industries business working in Denk Pharma, Ethiopia. Besides, I have taught in different private college and universities. To mention few: drug supply management, pharmacology and medicinal chemistry were the courses I have delivered.
- On my assignments in Adama Hospital Medical College, I performed my responsibilities as a pharmacist and medical supply officer under senior medical officers, virtually with little or no supervision, having regular interaction with other components of the Missions' SCM.
- As part of SCM, my experience comprised of acquisition planning, budgeting; preparation of technical specifications; requisitioning, procurement; performing of technical evaluation; transportation management, delivery conditions, vendor responsibilities; contract management; receiving and inspection of arriving pharmaceuticals and medical supplies; inventory and warehouse management; movement and distribution; asset management, write-off and disposal: preparing pharmacy unit and medical section for the Annual Audit.
- Currently, I am working at Denk Pharma with a major responsibilities of order placing, order fulfillment, delivery and over all managing the drug supply management.
- Moreover, my active participation in the Ethiopian Pharmaceutical Association gave me additional opportunities to engage with a lot of stakeholders and partners.
