* SUMMARY OF DUTIES
Oversee the efficient flow of products between points of manufacturing, finished goods and the warehouse. At times, this includes the planning, scheduling and management of the efficient movement of material from production to warehouse.
Ensure the exection & continuous improvement of a standard logistic process.
Inspect all material to ensure quality. Check all workorders to ensure that all departments have completed all of the Bill of Material. (BOM.) Unfinished or uncompleted (nonconformance) Bill of Materials are sent back to the proper department to finish or complete said BOM. Enter all Nonconformances into the the computer database.
Key Responsibilities
* Controls the efficient flow of goods, services and information between point of origin through customer placement in order to meet customer requirements. May also plan, schedule and manage the efficient movement of material from receiving or the warehouse to production.
* Develops raw material requirements and scheduling requirements from engineering specifications and production schedules and plans and manages material or load movement with warehouse, and production.
* Ensures the execution and continuous improvement of standard logistic processes. Logistics functions encompass maintenance, supply, transportation and logistics plans. Inherently included as logistics task are policy planning, coordination, inspection, integrated logistics processes, joint planning logistics, product support, asset visibility, material management and supervision. Frequent use and application of industry practices, techniques, and standards.
* Receives assignments in the form of objectives and establishes goals to meet outlined objectives. Participates in the development of solutions to a variety of problems moderate in scope and complexity. often refers to policies, procedures and practices for guidance.
* Ensure that all employees are up to date on any and all manufacturing specifications.
* Ensure that all employees are completing daily duties in a quality and timely manner, and that they are following all policies and procedures.
