OBJECTIVE
I offer over 30 years experience working with at risk youth and adults as a Community Advocate, Recreation Coordinator, Bilingual Community Liaison, Forensic Judicially Involved Specialist, Therapeutic Behavioral Specialist, Parent Partner Supervisor and Motivator. Major responsibilities are to establish and implementing the support services for parents and guardians of children participating in the Los Angeles County Wraparound Program. Serve as a liaison for parent involvement and offer support in whatever way is most helpful to each individual family. Provide advocacy services for clients and their families to include obtaining information, identify needs, barriers and problem solving.
Project Coordinator
Foothill Unity Center Inc. Monrovia California 10/31/14 to May 2015, End of Grant
Responsible for the development of a Young Adult on the Job Training Program funded by a County of Los Angeles Grant.
Recruit participants ages 16 to 24 for a 240 hour paid workability program at two different Location
Train participants in the areas of Operation (maintenance), Clerical, and Warehouse supports at Foothill Unity a community based program with a food bank servicing San Gabriel Valley and many other Human Services programs available the community.
Maintain a Job Club that will help participant get the training needed to become marketable.
Wraparound Parent Partner Supervisor

Responsible for providing advocacy and liaison services between the clinician, treatment staff, nursing, community, agencies/services, families and child(ren) to:
Ensure families are properly supported through the process of having children involved with DCFS, Probation, or mental health systems, and utilizing any Five Acres residential, community, wraparound or educational services.
Provide Advocacy for the Parent Support Groups and throughout SGV.
Facilitate an alliance between the families and Systems.

My responsibilities were the day-to-day operations of a major Community Center and Citywide Youth Sports Programs. Developed, Implemented and the enhancement of new recreational, social and existing programs.

Responsible for the development of behavioral aide classroom to reinforce the fundamentals of Character Building. Responsible for the development and implementation of break time and lunch time structured recreational activities around a safe and fun environment for all the children attending Cleveland Elementary School.
Community Liaison/ Varsity Soccer Coach

Assisted teachers and administrator to effectively communicate with parents of student that were non-English speaking. Assisted Staff with parents to communicate problems or progress for parents that were non- English speaking. Advocate for parents needing assistance with issues related to education affecting their children’s.
I was also responsible for the development and implementation of the boys and girls soccer program. Assisted the students with schoolwork to maintain grade level to stay eligible to participate in the soccer program. Monitored grades, schedule games, practice sessions and taught the rules and fundamentals of the game. Develop individual player profiles for possible chance to obtain entrance to University or College.
Salamanca Professional Soccer Player

As an ex- professional soccer player I learned discipline and respect for the game and the other athletes competing. I learn to value the importance of a healthy mind-healthy body that equals a great character. Additional Responsibilities were to stay consistent in my abilities to perform and be the best team player at all times.
