WORK EXPERIENCE

Food Safety Supervisor/Occupational Supervisor - March 2022- Present

ADUSA Distribution- Bethlehem, PA

Maintain food safety and occupational safety training programs to ensure governmental compliance

Manage and support existing food safety programs and emerging priorities

Provide technical support to associates and management regarding food safety and occupational safety programs.

Ensure associates receive food safety and occupational safety orientation training and all required annual trainings

Manage the Powered Industrial Truck training program and ensure all associates are properly certified § Review OSHA Logs and ensure accuracy

OCCUPATIONAL SAFETY RESPONSIBILITIES

Provide guidance and oversight to DC teams to ensure compliance to all applicable ADUSA Safety policies

Gan/posses/teach a thorough understanding of local/regional/domestic regulations and company policy ensuring relationship building with local urgent care/medical centers, policies of fire, OSHA/regulatory Compliance officers and any additional partnerships currently in place

Measure sites performance against leadership team goals and EHS policies. For all deficiencies identify a plan for site to implement and fix all identified deficiencies. Drive accountability for a plan. Each plan can be site created with report outs/updates provided during weekly business reviews

Analyze safety metrics and review incident trends to areas where the warehouse is highest

Weekly/Monthly Business review cadence with both site and regional leadership to cover down on prior week/ month business.

Audit recordkeeping practices and incident entries to ensure compliance to DC standards and local regulations ( OSHA record keeping) keep up to date o incident investigation training/safety training

Ensure site leadership and associates are trained and knowledgeable of their responsibilities under each safety policy. Audit the quality delivery ( including qualifications of the trainer) and effectiveness of all required safety training

Safety absolute training tracking and follow up. Ensure site meets its individual goals.

Perform quarterly safety audits

Develop/lead initiative to reduce conditional and ergonomic risk in our process to ensure a safe and healthy working environment.

Lead safety committee cadence, participating individuals and communication

DAILY RESPONSIBILITIES

Previous days injury/incident review follow up

Review safety absolute leadership observation data

Trailer pull process-red, green lights and restraint working properly

Yard walk, looking for hazards including stuck by hazard, vest, spills, trailer pulls

Emergency exit accessible and not obstructed

Document associate interactions focused on safety absolutes

Seek out new hires reinforce safety and follow up on training progress

Spend time on floor with a member of leadership with a focus to safety and absolutes

Visual observation of hazardous waste accumulation area to ensure chemical containing products are placed in correct barrels and area is in good repair

WEEKLY RESPONSIBILITES
