Design, Analyze and Troubleshoot Multi operator active DAS system in 4-Floor Stadium using IB-Wave Dec 2022

• Simulated and designed a multi-operator active DAS system in a stadium with 6 sectors, each sector is covered by operator-1 & 2 deploying LTE at 700 MHz & 2100 MHz band and WCDMA at 850 MHz & 1900 MHz band respectively.

• Configured channel number, channel bandwidth(15MHz), and split users according to operator penetration rate (50% of users with operator-1/2) and technology breakdown (50% of users of operator-1/2 using LTE / WCDMA technology).

• Network Optimization to define cell loading, RSRP threshold(-100dBm) and RSRP margin(5dB) for the potential handoff between sectors.

• Down-tiling the undesired sector antenna to reduce interference and % overlap to improve SINR and end user throughput.

• Configured to use three 5MHz channel instead of one 15MHz channel for 6 sectors (i.e, 1 channel / 2 sector) for effective channel frequency reuse.

• Verified the Signal strength, Best Server and LTE RSRP for Compliance criteria’s. Wi-Fi monitoring, planning, Site survey and troubleshooting using Net Spot Tool Apr 2022
