EDUCATIONAL BACKGROUND

CLASS X: Studied at Anupama English School, Bangalore, and passed out in April 1996.

X+II: Studied at Vivekananda P.U. College, Bangalore, and passed out in December 2000.

B.Sc Computer Science (Incomplete): After completing my X+II, studied B.Sc in Computer Science at S.Nijalingappa College, Rajajinagar, Bangalore.

WORK EXPERIENCE

Started formal training in Medical Transcription from July 2004, to September 2004, at Rx Documents, BTM Layout, Bangalore. On successful completion of training, I was promoted to the production team and started working as an OJT till April 2005. Later was promoted as JMT and worked as JMT till July 2007.

After leaving Rx Documents, joined Spheris India Pvt. Ltd, the then India’s leading Medical Transcription Company, and worked as Production Trainee from August 2007, to February 2009.

On leaving Spheris, joined FocusMT India Pvt. Ltd in March 2009, (later renamed as Nuance Transcription Services) and worked as a proofreader till February 2014.

After resigning from my job at Nuance Transcription Services, I joined Virtual Medical Scribe training at Infosense Technologies Pvt. Ltd, in October 2014. On successful training, was promoted to the production department in February 2015, and started working as a Medical Scribe till August 2016, later was promoted as Training Specialist. In February 2017, was selected as a Trainer to train scribes at Elico Healthcare in Hyderabad. After returning from Hyderabad, continued to work as a trainer until October 2020. In October 2020, amidst the COVID-19 pandemic, I was moved to a new role called Clinical Note Reviewer and worked asClinical Note Reviewer until June 2023. PERSONAL TRAITS
