Work Experience

Adornus October 2021-Present

Job Title - Lead CNC Operator

Duties - Ensure that the equipment is clean and free of debris prior to the start up. Reference the machine to the home position and begin the spindle warm up process. While the equipment is undergoing the start up process, I check the list of work orders against the due date list to begin with the most urgent order first. The order must then be loaded onto a flashdrive and then inserted into the CNC computer. The files are then loaded and matched up with the printed schematic to ensure that no errors have been made in the engineering process. A new sheet of plywood needs to be loaded onto the table and centered before locking it down. I can then start the cut and watch to ensure that the spindle is working correctly and changing tools properly. After the last cut is made the finished parts are moved to the conveyor for removal. Each part is matched to the correct label to identify the parts for the next stage of operations. Proper PPE is to be worn at all times and the equipment and area need to be kept clean throughout the day.
