Rep West Insurance Handles claims for U-Haul International Corporation, a specialist in the self-moving industry for the entire United States and Canada.

As the only Casualty supervisor in the Arizona Claims Office, I was responsible for the supervision of 3 casualty adjusters and one property adjuster.

My duties included initial directions, review of open and closed claim files, training and evaluation.

The claims varied from personal liability, product liability, claims for damage to personal property damaged in transit.

The success of our team depended heavily on coordination with outside vendors, in house engineers and legal staff.

Serious and high value claims required presentation to the claims committee.

Gallagher Bassett Services is a Third- Party Administrator.

Their clientele consists of insurance companies, restaurant chains, members of the hospitality industry and others.

As a senior claims representative, I was responsible for initial contact with clients and claimants on same day as notification of the claim.

Immediately upon receipt of a notice of loss I conducted my preliminary investigation.

At the conclusion of the investigation, I evaluated the information, made reserve recommendations supported with a sound reserve rationale.

Once all information needed was received, I started negotiations and resolved the claim in the most expedient and cost-effective manner.

Senior Claims Examiner

Chubb Group of Insurance Companies underwrites both commercial insurance and high-end niche personal lines insurance.
