I recently graduated from University of Santo Tomas Faculty of Medicine and
Surgery and earned my degree as a Medical Doctor. Currently, I am in the process of taking US Medical Licensure Examination (USMLE), while working as a Medical Scribe in a Home Health Care company to sustain my financial needs prior to residency and at the same time be trained further in working in a healthcare setting. I have a vast knowledge in medical terms, medical ethics and medical policies. In addition, I have years of experience in dealing with difficult patients and difficult situations. I possess the characteristics of an organized and a knowledgeable individual with great communication skills. I have an ample background in performing administrative and clinical tasks in various healthcare environments.

I transcribed recorded medical information from patient encounters into the electronic medical record for clinicians to review and sign. I possess Proficiency with medical terminology and WellSky Home Health and Hospice EHR. Head, Community Service/Immersion in a foreign country; Bulacan, Philippines — January 2011-June 2011
I have organized and headed funding in an underprivileged area in Bulacan, Philippines where we were able to build a feeding program for about 300 individuals both children and adult. We also educated the communities by doing health teaching programs in the area. After half a year of community service, we decided to make a movie in order to promote social awareness in regards to what is lacking in the community which includes education, electricity, shelter and proper food and water resources.
