As the Project Manager for Portables, I and my team have inventoried all client owned portable properties as well as AV equipment, assigned item numbers, photographed all items, labeled the properties, and entered them into the inventory control computer program. I implemented an inventory system of color coding all client owned extension cords, multi strips and power supplies. All. AV items were marked with a large label with the manufacturer name, serial number, size of the item, and included accessories such as remote controls, table stands, as well as what cords were included.
