Q&R owner of 3 new product development process (PDP) programs of dielectric deposition products, in which two products have been successfully released to the market. Accomplished the full product cycle.

Phases 1~2: Perform Market- Functional- Design- Hardware requirements mapping and analysis, FMEA, and reliability allocation.

Phase 3: Characterization and optimization of designs through structured DOE, sensitivity analysis (Monte Carlos), reliability growth, robustness & margin test, update allocation, and DfR design BKM.

Phase 4~5: Alpha supplier verification of parts through PQP (Product Quality Performance Documentation &Verification) and C-RAMS (HALT, stress screening, vibration, and functionality tests of electrical or mechanical parts). Beta customer validation of systems through E-RAMS (reliability growth, MTBF, system availability, process Cpk, chamber matching (R&R), and field NC resolution).

As the project manager/ owner of product safety and high-value Top-X issues, solved issues from the dimensions of people, process, and problems. Wrote test plans or proposals (functional specifications, design verification plans, and functional test procedures), conducted failure analysis using 8D, updated progress, and led cross-functional teams to close projects. Aligned teams with BU’s business strategy, defined NC cost reduction roadmap, performed cost forecast for each Top-X, and dealt with design/ manufacturing changes, customer success, and supplier audits and cooperation.

Staff Engineer - RESPEC Consulting, Rapid City, SD Jan. 2019 - June 2021

Held the project technical briefing and kick-off meetings to determine the project scope, planned schedules, executed all technical activities, and wrote technical reports and consulting proposals for clients.

Thermal, Fluid, & Structural work: Engineered the heater-packer system applied in the wellbore, evaluated the sensitivity of material properties using Monte Carlo, and simulated the thermal stress of rocks and natural convection of the heated drilling fluid using FEA and CFD.
