Professional Experience

Director, Venue Business Operations – Director over 12 venues for all FOH aspects of Customer and Client Services, Visitor Services, Docents, Touring, Box Office staff and sales, Merchandise, Food and Beverage operations for one of New York’s leading Non-Profit Organizations; “Jazz at Lincoln Center.” Improved and streamlined accounting processes through aggressive team approach of $14 million budget. Strengthened accountability through hands-on, aggressive leadership style. Guided the staff of 100 union and non-union employees, FOH management, ushers, docents, volunteers and outsourced operations and security agencies for the newest multi-venue performance center in New York City. Successfully directed all in over 900 events and performances per fiscal year maintaining all budget criteria and client/patron satisfaction. Insured all venues were "show ready" at all times overseeing that all facility maintenance requirements and OSHA high safety standards were met.

Interviewed, hired and trained all venue and FOH management, usher and retail staff. Raised the retention rate and quality of ushers through proper, continual training, and ever present approach.

Restaurant/Retail Director – Internal/Operational auditor for 265 retail/restaurant Travel Centers nationwide. Continually guided and developed the management team. Lassoed $8 million dollar foods, catering and retail department budgets and brought them back under immediate control. Able to improve speed of service, menu and merchandise quality while cutting 8% of the second year budget through wise vendor and scheduling changes. P&L guru, HACCP trained, food safety expert always ensured all foods served were of the highest quality.

Inventory/Audit Specialist – Operations Manager over major Retail and Food/Beverage themed warehouse operations. Ordered, inventoried and dispersed both retail and food items to 9 retail and 7 restaurant locations at major Florida Theme Park. Maintained a bi-weekly commissary and bi-yearly retail inventory schedule. Promoted to Account Executive/Senior Operational Auditor for major operator of 265 travel centers, restaurants and retail outlets nationwide.
