Youth Advocate Program 3/20/2018 to Present

Program Director

As Program Director, I oversee the entire operation in Program #78. I meet daily with the advocates to make sure they are following the ISP’s for each individual clients. I also keep track of and maintain the Budget. I meet regularly with DSS to make sure we are on the same page and following the protocol that they set out for us. I am also working on increasing our supported work program to include parents that want to work, not just the youth. I meet monthly with my Regional Director Casey Lane to go over the operation of this office. Youth Advocate Program 10/01/2016 to 3/20/2018

Assistant Director

As assistant Director, I was in charge of doing weekly supervision with Advocates. Writing plans for each client, making sure they were working with the Families and clients to achieve those goals, working towards a positive Discharge. I was also in charge of going over, signing, and submitting payroll each week. I would get referrals from Department Of Social Services, then I would take that referral and open each case, meeting the client and family, and filling out all proper paperwork needed. I would also visit each family two times a month to go over safety plans, and make sure their needs are being met. I would attend trainings and seminars to further my knowledge, and put it to use in the field.
