Designation: Supply Chain Project Manager

I was heading a UNSOS Project dealing with Supply Chain/inventory, warehousing and logistics of all UN operations in Somalia in six major sectors i.e. Mogadishu, Kismayo, Beletwyne, Baledogle, Baidoa and Jowhar and all the strongholds of (Al Shabaab) Purpose: To manage the project Operations including warehousing, inventory and logistics roles at United Nations Support Office in Somalia. (Mogadishu) My main task was to ensure the Project working tools are in place in respect of warehousing and inventory management of UNISOS 33,000 stock items. I managed all the 6 main Warehouses SUPPLY/ CITS/TRANSPORT/MEDICAL/including the main yard and yards at the sectors throughout the war-torn country. All inbound and outbound logistics were under my jurisdiction working hand in hand with UNSOS staff.

Recruiting, training and deploying both national and international staff and ensuring appropriate skills transfer.

Unlimited Responsibilities:
