Roles & Responsibilities: - Senior QC Engineer

Responsible for Employer’s QA/QC requirements to ensure the commitment and compliance is in line with Employer’s site-specific quality requirements and procedures.

Submit documents such as Project Quality Plan, Method Statements, ITPs, KPIs, etc.

Assess construction and installation methods of construction and ensure that QA/QC procedures are adequately implemented.

Conduct formal site QA/QC inspections and QA/QC meetings on weekly basis with Site Management and ensure recommended remedial actions are closed by us and reports are submitted to Employer.

Coordinate with Consultant’s QA/QC Engineer to ensure that Employer’s QA/QC requirements and Key Performance Indicators (KPI), etc. are achieved at Site.

Audit Contractor’s Project Quality Plan, QA/QC Procedures, Site Activities and submit report to Employer and follow-up on Remedial Actions implemented by Contractor.

Closely monitor site activities and site conditions on daily basis to find out QA/QC non-conformances and take appropriate remedial actions and report to Project Manager.

Ensure that Project QA/QC programs and procedures are established, implemented, reviewed and improved as needed.

Prepare QA/QC Performance Reports weekly, monthly and annually, non-conformance trend analysis, remedial actions, etc. and submit to Employer.

Attend QA/QC Meetings with Consultant, and Weekly Progress Meetings if required by Construction Manager.

Coordinate with Consultant’s Document Controller and QA/QC Engineer to ensure that all documents are properly controlled.

Make sure that any non-conformity has been reported through a Non Conformance Report.

Carry out final inspection of work and prepare Punch List. Etc.

Closely monitor construction works, concrete pours and continuously check materials delivered to site,

ensure compliance with QA/QC procedures, and ensure all tests are carried out as per contract requirements.

Project: Thermal power plant and Russian Steel Plant

Roles & Responsibilities: - Civil Assistant Resident Engineer

Review, communicate and implement the Project Quality Plan on site.

Develop Method statement, checklists and inspection test plans for site works.

Identify training needs and arrange appropriate training on site for various site staff.

Manage the Site QA/QC Team.

Manage the inspection process of work activities and materials on site.

Review functional and design specifications to ensure full understanding of individual deliverables.

Coordinate with material testing laboratory for the material testing in accordance to the project requirements.

Ensure Suppliers and Subcontractors meet the project specifications requirements.

Managing the QA/QC documents of the entire project including certificates, calibration, test results, inspection requests, non-compliance reports and site instruction/observations, permanent materials delivered and other QA/QC documents.

Sept’ 2017 to April 2019 with Kettaneh Engineer & Architects (PMC), Middle East

Project: Fadhili Combined Oil & Gas Power plant, KSA

Roles & Responsibilities: - Sr. Civil Inspector

Raise Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs), when necessary, and communicate quality noncompliance issues to the Project Manager.

Develop and implement corrective and preventive actions to stop further recurrence of Non-Conformity.

Ensure all NCRs are adequately monitored, and concerns dealt with effectively and in a timely fashion.

Participate in regular site meetings with the Client’s Representative and the consultant.

Manage and facilitate the follow up process on site related actions highlighted in management review meetings.

Define applicable Client’s requirements to Suppliers and Subcontractors.

Provide assistance to external agency representatives and coordinate with them during external audits, surveillance visits and re-certification audits.

Preparing monthly quality performance reports.

Prepare and follow up on quality related snags and close out documents during hand over.

Implement the Company established quality programs to achieve the set quality objectives and targets.
