As a Logistics Specialist most of my responsibilities were to order, store, check and issue flight gear, repair parts and other equipment and goods. Organize and operate Navy post offices, ashore and afloat. Receive, sort, inspect and deliver arriving mail and cargo. Maintain inventory database and prepare reports and correspondence. Maintain financial logs and records. Operate computer systems that provide logistic support information. I also dedicated over 500 man hours to the corrosion control effort which includes conducting over 3,000 preventive maintenance checks including upkeep of shipboard air ventilation systems, water tight doors and ship fire stations with zero rework needed. I performed as a crane rigger and crane signalman for 1,000 pieces
of USMC gear. Performed countless well deck, flight operations and amphibious assault exercises in cohesion with the United States Marine Core, U.S. Navy SEALs and United States Air Force.
