PAINT SHOP PROCESS

1) PAINT SHOP BOOTH CAPACITY- 3000 TONS PER MONTH Three coating system is followed up .Paint Booth hasDown draft system

2)Grit blast BOOTH CAPACITY- 3000 tons Per Month. We are using G18 Grit (size to 1.0mm)

3. Thermal spray- Zinc metalized Coating – 3000 Tons per Month

a)Choosing paint schemes for wind castings as per the ISO 12944 corrosive rate C5M, C5I, C4.

b)Preparing Control plans & paint mix chart for process.

c)Monitoring the surface preparations as per the surface purity grade Nace SSPC, Sa ISO 8501, ISO 8502, ISO 8503.

d)Conducting process validation for process, Grit blasting, shot blasting, metalizing, painting applications.

e)Conducting operator qualifications.

f)Detailed study of surface cleanness as per ISO 8502, by chemical tests- soluble salt test (Total Salt test), conductivity, and mill scales.

g)Validating the paint schemes in the external laboratories for the assessments of their expose, applications as per the ISO 4628 degree of blistering, rusting, cracking, flaking, and chalking.

h) Measurement of dry film thickness (DFT)ISO19840, wet film thickness (WFT) in process as per ISO 2808.

i)Inspection & validation over the Zinc Thermal metalizing as per ISO

2603,

j)Conducting test for the assessment of adhesion strength between coating layers, with the substrate (Cross cut, pull off, MEK rub test) in the test specimens & RA part as per the ISO 2409, ISO 4624, ASTM D 4752.

k)Micro analysis of DFT, contaminations, void, oxidation, porosity, roughness in the metalized and painted test specimens.

l)Preparing in process monitoring check sheets & inspection formats for painting process.

m)Introducing the special high grip coating for high stress & friction contact parts (flanges, rotor faces) with high abrasion resistance.

n)Test for assessment of solvent resistant against sprits, petrol, and diesel in the test specimens.
