As a designer and photographer for over 20 years I have begun to master the art of communication. Whether through designing a brochure, logo or education material I have used this skill all throughout my career. Using the skills I have obtained as an education designer within a marketing department, I was able to continue to take information and translate them for my audience. This audience ranged from freshmen in high school, to community stakeholders learning about the district, school or program I was discussing. In the few years as and administrator at both South Eastern Regional Technical High School and Everett High School I have accomplished many goals. In Everett my first few months I managed and ensured progress and completion for the construction for the six programs expansion. Included in this, was an exploratory program that rivals that of other comprehensive high schools in the state of Massachusetts. In South Eastern I have hit the ground running in developing the SOAR After Dark program. I have established an exploratory program, hired and trained new staff as I have prepared them for licensure, developed program procedures, student expectations, a grading system and more. I have also been assisting the Technical Institute Director with developing new staff for the HVAC program and its redevelopment and maintained the evening staff observations. While I have been in administration for a few years, and I have also taught Design & Visual Communications at Somerville High school for approximately 10 years. I am licensed as both a Design & Visual Communication Instructor and Career Technical Education Director for the state of Massachusetts. Before this I worked as a designer for the marketing department of School Specialty EPS for 6 years. Working my way up from a production designer since 2001 in various companies.

My educational background includes a Bachelor’s of Fine Arts in Graphic Design and a Master’s Degree in Communications: Advertising and Public Relations, both from Suffolk University. My passion for design, communication and education is clearly denoted by my extensive activities throughout my career. I look forward to discussing how we can work together.
