RSU 20-( RSU 71} Belfast School District-1 have been teaching for 37 years. I have taught at four different schools in the district. I have taught all
grades K to 8. I also helped design and build the new elementary school which we named Captain Albert Stevens School.
Other work experience
Pals for Pals Organization-Assisted two clients in assisted living places with various duties.
Comfort Inn-I worked at the front desk as a receptionist. Doing multi-task jobs.
University of Maine Hutchinson Center-1 trained a group for teachers in hands on Science kits.
Substitute taught in the following school systems-Augusta School
Department, Auburn School Department and RSU 38.
Taught a substitute training course to adults who want to become substitute teachers.

Internships
Asa Adams School--Student taught grades 3, 4, 6. Did a play in grade 6
Orono, Maine "Alice in Wonderland." Did a long term substitute
teaching job for the school district in grade 4. This internship was done for a whole semester as it
was what I chose to do. The university only required
six weeks.
Elizabeth Levinston Center--Two week internship working with the
Bangor, Maine profoundly retarded children. Learned the round of motion physical therapy program. Helped out in various ways to help with
children's needs.
Cerebral Palsy Center--Worked with children who have cerebral palsy. Bangor, Maine Eating, drinking, communication on electric
computer.
Sunshine Nursery School--Taught and did research with children in
Belfast, Maine 04915 this preschool setting. The research was
was done on children's writing and how they attempt to write at this age. It was a summer
program in which swimming was an
activity daily.
Jack and Jill Day Care Center--Two week internship to become familiar
Orono, Maine with a day care center setting.
