Worked in the Human Resources, aka: “Personnel” career field from 1995-2010 and Logistics career field from 1987-1995
Employed as a Protocol Non Commissioned Officer for nine months, showing Senior Officers and staff around Schriever AFB, allowing these members what the Space Operations world does for the future of all military branches and the civilians what satellites can cover to protect them.
Was in charge of helping transition the newest members in the Air Force, after being assigned to Schriever AFB, some of the more important aspects of being in the service and local areas of concern might evolve for them
1995: Was stationed in Valdosta, GA at Moody AFB until 1995, stationed there for eight years, worked in three different squadrons – base supply, then two different aircraft squadrons, then got stationed in Korea for two months (until my dad was terminally ill and passed away) and then was reassigned, and had to change career fields (jobs), that summer. That was when I ended up in the personnel career field back here at Moody AFB (aka: Human Resources), until I retired from the military after 23.5 years.
JOB TITLE • COMPANY • DATES FROM – TO:
When I entered the Air Force, I worked in ‘MICAP’ which stands for Mission Capability Aircraft Parts, which was a very import part of finding hard to get items for the aircraft, and other parts of Moody Air Force Base, and in the Mobility Section, then in the Air Craft support squadrons, and in Korea, then had to change career programs into the Personnel side. Was moved to Colorado Springs, due to my dad’s poor health and to support my mom. Then was moved to Cheyenne WY for the same job style. I ended up retiring as the Noncommissioned Officer in charge for the Personnel section (a.k.a. Human Resource) in the recruiting squadron again at Moody AFB, in Valdosta GA. I retired as an E-7 (MSgt).
I am able to supply copies of almost of all of my job information as needed, as they are well over 20 years’ worth of information
Also, while stationed here in Valdosta, GA, I worked part-time at the Citgo gas station on Bemis RD, and at the Dollar Tree when it was in the Valdosta mall. Worked at Convergies as a telephone customer service representative for DirecTV
