DUBAI MUNICIPALITY - DEEP TUNNEL STORM WATER TUNNEL SEA OUTFALL PROJECT: Archirodon (ARCO) – Dubai Municipality (DM) planned to build a state-of-the-art Deep Tunnel Storm System Terminal Pumping Station and Seal outfall to covey storm water and ground water flows to the gulf via a marine outfall. The designed flow for the pump station is 36m3/s. Plan is to see During storm water event the system can handle the flow 36m3/s in discharging to the gulf through the designed outfall to the sea. Transfer the ground water flow 9m3/s also in combination with storm water to the outfall The outfall pipes and pumps safety due pressure surges during pump shutdown, start up and valves closing scenarios were analysed through surge analysis using AFT Impulse (version 6) Transient analysis software. The results indicated that the pump terminal and sea outfall pipelines are safe to handle the storm surge along with ground water flow in dispensing to the sea. (Completed)

PHILLIPS 66 – GRAY OAK PIPELINE - Stoner Surge Models Review. Reviewed the Hydraulic Surge analysis model developed in Stoner Simulator software by an independent contractor for the new Gray Oak Pipeline (West Texas to Sweeny & Corpus Christi) specifically Surge Analysis for 1) Crane and Ingleside 2) Central Junction to Sweeny TX and 3) 3rd Party Delivery to Helena, Crane & Wink. Reviewed the analysis model for 20 scenarios (identified in surge analysis report) for the pipeline segments requested for evaluation and review the outputs. EAP HOLDING COMPANY- ENCINO ENERGY- Hydraulic Modelling of Dry & Wet Gas Gathering Pipelines Network Systems. Worked with the EAP Holdings Co business and operations team in incorporating existing pipelines and the new development pipelines (about 1000 pipelines) in the UTICA Hub network in OHIO using DNV.GL-SYNERGI GAS 4.9.1 Modeler for hydraulic modelling. Developed separate models for Bush creek, Flint (Dry gas) and Cardinal (Wet gas) which connects all gathering pipelines and Wells and Pads. The developed fully integrated field hydraulic models for Wet gas and Dry gas Gathering new work will assist Encino Energy to assess the field development strategies and compare the strategies of financial and non-financial metrics. Optimizing and recommending field development strategies that can improve the value of our client’s assets by 25%.

Feed compositions and well pads end flowrates and pressures have been obtained from CYGNET’s live data. The model well pad data has been updated with the CYGNET data. The flow data has been verified with FLOCAL data which is the collection point of the live data coming from CYGNET. Assessed the technical feasibility, capital and operational costs of multiple alternatives. The integrated model helped the client identify a critical risk to their field operations and overall NPV that was previously not considered by the client.
