were overseeing the adding all test cases into ADO Server tool, ensuring business teams correctly executed test cases and logged
bugs correctly. Trained the application business teams on test case execution, defect management, and linking all work items
correctly in order to provide easier metrics reporting and test asset traceability.
- Oversees the tracking of quality assurance metrics such as defect density and open defect counts. Oversees team members
responsible for testing and inspection of products to determine compliance with specifications
- Participated in bi-weekly defect triage meetings to ensure all defect classifications such as severity, priority, etc., were properly
assigned. Assigned all defects to the proper resources based on defect classifications as well as time allocations or resource
constraints identified. The defect triage process greatly reduced the lifecycle of all defects

UAT test case execution as well as all defects not in a closed or rejected status, with focus on those with critical or high severity in

- Assisted business users in the User Acceptance Testing (UAT) for the major release of the Rue21.com website
- UI test lead for all content management, product list and product display pages as well as all product category hierarchies. Ensured
that all available products with inventory were being displayed. Inventory levels were verified and manipulated via TOAD Oracle
database tool (v11).
- Provided test support across multiple operating systems on both mobile and desktop devices including Android, iOS, Windows and
Mac, as well as providing test support for multiple browsers, i.e. Chrome, Edge, IE, Safari, Firefox, Opera and Yandex
- Performed extensive data setup for multiple test scenarios via TOAD Oracle database tool (v11). Data setup included providing
sufficient money balances for different methods of payment for testing which included Rue21 gift cards, multiple credit card types,
etc.
- Assisted business users in the verification of the Rue21 Rewards program. Testing included verifying the proper threshold was met
before applying rewards to an account. Testing also included ensuring applied reward(s) for a given placed order adjusted order total
correctly. Extensive boundary testing was also performed to ensure the minimum and maximum number of rewards guideline was
being adhered to.
- Assisted business users in testing website promotions to ensure that promotion rules were being applied correctly.
- Reported quality metrics daily to evaluate progress of UAT.
- Logged and tracked issues found in a Google Share spreadsheet. It was determined during the triage process if issues were actual
defects, non-duplicates, etc. Once determined to be an actual defect, the issues were the further triaged to apply correct priority,
severity, etc., and then logged into a tracked in Atlissian JIRA tool (version 7.9.2) to effectively communicate concise details

Quality Assurance Lead
- QA Lead for the Enterprise Data Structure (EDS) team. The EDS QA team is the sole team responsible for all testing activities for a
large ETL project, which involved the onboarding of new lines of business (source) data files as well as ensuring the data files were
offboarded to the customers (consumer) successfully.
- Validated all source file template requirements provided by the business data team against the files constructed in the
proprietary Self Provisioning Tool (SPT) application. Validation included ensuring all file delivery schedule information is correct as
per the defined schedule. Standard licensing agreement was verified to ensure the file is being delivered at the correct time of day,
the correct EDS file and the correct Vertica tables are being used in the ETL process, as well as other critical information. These
were validated via the use of Oracle queries in the Oracle SQL Developer application (version 19.1.0.094) and then comparing the
query results to the data that existed in the SPT application as well as the same data in the proprietary Metadata Browser tool
- Validated all field definition requirements. Verified that the data element names, field types and lengths existed in the SPT
application and Metadata Browser tools as per defined.
- Processed all source files in the lower test regions in a proprietary EDS Web Browser tool. Files were provided by the source data
team. File processing injected the file data into the Vertica tables.
- Debugged problems via monitoring log files during errors encountered during file processing. Problems were resolved by analyzing
the specific data in the error log files.
- Authored and executed Vertica queries in the DB Visualizer tool (version 10.0.7). Queries returned specific file data for the source
data team to analyze. Provided the query results in Microsoft Excel format. The source data team then provided sign off in the
applicable region.
- Submitted all work requests in the Atlissian JIRA tool (version 7.9.2). This included all requests for workflow promotion from the
lower test regions to the next, data team support requests, i.e. loading production files in the UAT region and masking of sensitive
data in production files to use in UAT. JIRA was also used to provide the SDLC Evidence issue for each release. This issue type
included all pertinent release information such as the lead points of contact for each department, links to the EDS QA test plan,
release test results, etc.
- Met with the project managers weekly to discuss source onboarding status as well as monthly to discuss release scope.
- Authored and maintained all EDS QA documentation for monthly releases to include test plans, test results, as needed ad hoc
status reports as well as consolidate all Vertica queries into a single document which was provided to the release manager at the end
of a given release on the release Sharepoint site.
- Authored and maintained all EDS QA training/support documentation which consisted of specific process documentation, test case
and test plan templates and a supporting SQL query library document which contained all queries used to validate data in the Oracle
and Vertica databases.
- Managed two EDS QA resources. Assigned work to each resource for each monthly release. Conducted daily stand-up Webex
meetings for status reporting purposes.

Senior Quality Assurance Analyst
- QA Lead for Service Link Plus (SLP) application. SLP is a large claims administration tool used by claims professionals for
the purpose of leveraging large amounts of data quickly, across numerous lines of liability, in order to
close claims efficiently. The SLP application included a complex rules engine where business rules could be created and
applied to the medical bills associated with claims. Complex business rules were defined, classified according to the specific
jurisdiction state.
- During agile development, represented SLP QA and participated in all sprint planning, review, retrospective meetings,
and story grooming sessions to provide QA time estimates, story points, as well as identify any resource constraints early in
the sprint development life cycle. Sprints occurred on a bi-weekly basis.
- Managed and conducted the testing for all SLP user stories created in JIRA 7.12.13 issue tracking management tool. Once
SLP user stories were updated to Ready for QA status, authored and executed all functional test cases needed for user story
sign-off to occur.
- Authored granular, specific test cases, test plans, test runs in TestRail 5.6.0.3865 web based test management tool. All test
cases were linked to the associated JIRA user story to provide traceability.
- Created customized reports in TestRail to better manage, track and organize testing efforts.
- Created all test data needed for all test scenarios in SQLyog 12.2.4 MySQL administration tool. Had full DML access to
the QA environment in order to quickly create or manipulate data for faster test turnaround. This tool was also used for
database verification during test execution.
- Conducted sign-off review meetings which were attended by all appropriate business analyst, development, and QA
stakeholders. The purpose of this meeting was to demo how all functional user stories in Sign-off status were tested to ensure
all business requirements were met. These demos were recorded sessions which were archived for future use. Once user stories
were signed off by the business analyst, these recordings were leveraged by the business in order to assist in user acceptance
testing.
- Defined and implemented traditional QA processes, documentation, i.e. scheduling, conducting peer reviews of all test assets
created, authoring complete SLP sprint and release lifecycle processes and formal SLP QA smoke test case which was
executed at the conclusion of each bi-weekly sprint or monthly release cycle.
- Used Confluence 6.12.1 collaboration software tool to drive continuous improvement of collaboration between the SLP QA,
development, business analyst, and management teams. This was achieved via sharing of knowledge, files, specifications
mockups, data flow diagrams, etc.

stories status in VersionOne when formal approval was given by the business & development leads.
- Assisted the quality assurance team in manual testing in HP ALM application during current development sprint
- Set up and executed daily queries in both Genesis and Timetrade, a third party vendor application, to capture all
appointments scheduled the previous day. Both lists of appointments were exported into Excel spreadsheets and reconciled via
the Microsoft Excel VLOOKUP function to identify scheduled appointments that were missing in Genesis application.
Missing appointments were then sent to Timetrade for the purpose of reloading them into Genesis.
- Managed the file import ETL process. This included monitoring the import of all user, resource, and location data on either a
daily (deltas) or monthly (full) basis, setting up rules in Microsoft Outlook to capture file import errors, working with the
Timetrade support team to resolve those errors, and documenting the ETL file import process via the creation of a data flow
diagram in Microsoft Visio as well as authoring a step-by-step process document used to assist resolving commonly occurring
file import errors.
- Performed daily field resource account maintenance including the initial setup in both Genesis and Timetrade, as well as
granting specific level of access, access to specific branch locations, etc.
- Managed the creation and maintenance of all MCASBA process documentation. All process documentation was authored and
