Key areas of responsibility include the day-to-day technical authority of the C/S/A, ensuring that constructability complies with Syncrude standards and local regulatory while maintaining alignment with the overall project plan. Remove roadblocks between engineering, construction and operations. Identify opportunities to increase the value of the project to Syncrude Canada Limited.

Senior Civil / Structural Engineer, Syncrude Mobile Equipment Services.

Provide Civil / Structural support to the upgrading, Mining and Extraction facilities. Work included the design of new facilities and the repair and maintenance of existing equipment. Design work included concrete and steel structures, both temporary and permanent. Also provided technical support for cold weather constructions.

Technical support for Syncrude Mobile Crane Fleet, including annual certification and repairs. Key point contact for critical lifts corporately. Developed Critical Lift Management Program for both internal and external clients. The program consisted of all facets of Critical Lift Management (equipment selection and specification, site set-up issues, risk controls, execution strategies, and hazard awareness).
