Although the materials in these manufacturing facilities were primarily aluminum alloys, cast, forged, and extruded, additional materials included steels and exotic materials such as titanium, hastelloy, and Inconel. Past employers were involved with other materials including plastics, graphite epoxies, fiberglass, and ceramics. Lastly, processing was performed on finished product which sometimes included, but not limited to heat treating, tempering, sealing, priming, painting, powder coating, alodining, anodizing, chem filming, and many more processes.
