Sort items coming off conveyor belt and ensure they are sent to correct destination. Then pack items into accepted containers and have them ready to be shipped.

On Demand Staffing, Tampa, Fl, 08/20-02/22. Staffing agent. Had a number of positions to fill in for from warehouse worker, catering assistant, event staffing, and also food service worker. From heavy lifting to pleasant interactions with customers and even ensuring work areas remain up to sanitation standards.

Sammy's poboy & catering, Metairie, LA 06/18-12/19. Line cook and Dishwasher. Had full run of the kitchen. Handled anything from washing dishes, to prep cooking all menu items, on to cooking orders and help complete catering orders. And of course also returned kitchen to sanitation standards each night.

Dominos pizza, Belle Chasse, La 2016-2017. Customer Service Representative. Dealt primarily with the customer in order taking. Also in charge of handling any refunds or issues that arose from dissatisfied customers. As the liason between customer and management was also in charge of customer payments, be it cash, check, or credit card payments.

Coca-Cola, Elmwood, La, 2015-2016. Warehouse Associate/Driver Helper. Operated forklifts and handtrucks to load invoice items onto the trucks to be delivered. Also in charge of maintaining cleanliness of the warehouse. As a helper assisted the driver in offloading and stocking locations as per the invoice.

Zea Rotisserie & Grill, Gretna, La 2014-2015. Host/Server/Prep Cook. Started as just a host taking care of all FOH responsibilities. Became a server and really focused on perfecting customer interaction. Started assisting with prep cooking when a few people went down and it sort of became a regular thing. Was in process of learning bar routine but never attained vendor card.

UPS, New Orleans East, La 2012-2014. Sorter. Managed the conveyer belt when boxes were off-loaded from the truck. It was my job to ensure packages were sorted and sent to their correct destinations. As the point of contact between driver and company, it was imperative that all packages were correctly processed and accounted for.

Kelly Educational Staffing, Gretna, La 2010-2013. As a substitute teacher I was typically in charge of a classroom of 20-25 students per period. As a sub there was no set grade or subject that I was called in to cover, so have experience with children ranging from grade school to high school. I have taught every core class even a Spanish class a time or three. Also had to leave detailed reports for original teachers and administrators informing them of the progress of the lessons.

U.S. Navy, Goose Creek, SC 2008-2010. Petty Officer 3 Machinist Mate. As a mechanic for a nuclear reactor had to ensure the reactor remained in peak condition in order to propel the aircraft carrier. As an engine room operative in charge of maintaing all gauges and meters so they accurately reflect the condition of the reactor. Also had to stay in communication with nuclear electrician to ensure all devices are in optimal working condition. Main job was to ensure the reactor was ready for startup or cool down at anytime depending on the status of the mission. Any more specifics would be a violation of the privacy clause of military operations.

Skills

Familiar with all Microsoft office programs, word, excel, powerpoint, etc. Handling radioactive materials. Also overcoming objections professionally.
