Provided Project Management services for nationally recognized restaurant chains including Darden Brands, Red Lobster, Ruby Tuesday, and Bahama Breeze. Scopes of work included FOH and BOH remodels and updates as well as emergency work. Encompass Design Development and Construction, LaGrange, KY 2015 – 2016 PROJECT MANAGER

Project Manager for hospitality and gaming clients. Instrumental role in the completion of an 8.5M brewery/restaurant, (Brew Brothers), at Scioto Downs Casino in Columbus, OH. Kelley Construction, Louisville, Kentucky 2001 – 2015 PROJECT MANAGER / GENERAL SUPERINTENDENT / PROJECT SUPERINTENDENT Advanced across three positions over 14-year period for multi-faceted national construction management and general contracting firm. Instrumental in securing General Contractor preferred status for Texas Roadhouse, Darden, and Speedway projects by consistently meeting deadlines for turnovers, collaborating across teams, and building trust among customers. PROJECT MANAGER (2008 – 2015)

Promoted to one of two Project Managers for Food Service Division with accountability for estimation and leadership of projects up to $2.5 million. Directed five Project Superintendents as well as Subcontractors and Vendors, Division 2 through 16. Spearheaded all activities from bid to project closeout.

Completed 80 plus restaurant and convenient food construction projects on-time and within budget, performing all warranty submissions and follow-ups for high customer satisfaction.

Effectively controlled budgets, procured materials, issued purchase orders, managed change orders, and conducted regular on-site visits to ensure specification and safety compliance. Had no reportable injuries during 14-year tenure.

Submitted weekly progress reports to owners, proactively communicating with decision makers, architects, engineers, and owner representatives. Received and evaluated daily reports from Superintendents.

Effectively managed union subcontractors on several projects and successfully controlled overtime and change order expenses. Examined proposals and negotiated contracts prior to signed agreements.

Interviewed, hired, trained, and conducted performance reviews of Superintendents. KEY PROJECTS

Texas Roadhouse: Directed 64 restaurant projects from bid through warranty period including new builds, conversions, additions, and remodels across the United States. Encompassed complex mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems with detailed civil requirements that varied across states. Consistently met turnover timelines of 119 days. Bubbas 33: 8500 SF new build and conversion projects that included continuous change orders and detailed documentation with unwavering completion date.

Darden: 10 remodels across 7 states involving 7 days per week while restaurants remained opened. Completed in 1.5 years, and received General Contractor preferred status which led to addition of two Project Managers and six Superintendents. Famous Dave’s: On-time and within budget one conversion and one remodel. Remodel involved eight-week shutdown for new dining, kitchen, and exterior work that included new roof, overhangs, new EFIS, and concrete. Speedway: Two new builds, one of which was $2.5 million truck stop that included extensive site work and generated

$115,000 additional revenue. Finished on-time and within budget which resulted in preferred General Contractor attainment. GENERAL SUPERINTENDENT (2006 – 2008)

Promoted to General Superintendent in 2006 with direct accountability for training new Superintendents and overseeing completion of multiple construction projects across the country.

Directed up to five Superintendents through successful completion of Texas Roadhouse projects.

Created Guidebook for Superintendents on Texas Roadhouse projects that included technical procedures for site conditions, blueprints, project efficiency, safety, and prevention. Resulted in consistent work processes for timely and successful project completion.

Assigned first Texas Roadhouse build which led to long term relationship and establishment as one of two General Contractors for Texas Roadhouse projects.

PROJECT SUPERINTENDENT (2001-2006)

As Project Superintendent, oversaw completion of five Qdoba restaurants which were each completed on-time and within budget. Supervised construction of 12,000 SF Bardstown Eastern Building for Design Plus Architectural Firm. Completed tenant finishes of two-story building for Heine Brothers, Sprint, and Design Plus. Recipient of ABC Award for outstanding construction that included energy efficient features.
