i. Carries out a full range of registered nurse duties, including assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of the patients condition and plan care with support of Nurse in charge

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Manage a case load of average 18 acutely till and patient per shift Asthma, Hypoglycemia, bleeding from Trauma, hypertension, diabetic coma, sickle cell crisis, Cardiac Arrest, Bowel Obstruction, Tuberculosis, CVA, Pneumonia etc. in accordance with the facility protocol. 2. Provide initial and ongoing vital sign assessment using monitor 3. Utilize the nursing process skills of assessment, planning providing and evaluating nursing care based on patient cases and interview. 4. Reception and prompt attention to emergencies by use of biage 5. Collects appropriate health history and develops plan of care 6. Perform wound care, both for trauma and other dressings, remove sutures
7. Feed patients on nasogastric tube
8. Monitor transfusions of blood and other cell maintain fluid balance 9. Administer medication, while observing the 5 “R” to prevent medication erros. Using intravenous, intramuscular subcutaneous, inhalation and oral routes.
