PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE:

August. 2019– Present: Trellisware Technologies: Pricing Manager for new programs, follow on and growth proposals

Accomplishments: Pricing Manager leadership role for the business. Cost Estimating, Forecasting leader supporting BD, Technology Development.

•Sr. Pricing Manager and cost budgeting lead role to manage CPFF, FFP and T&M development and production pricing to prime contractors, US Government and Commercial radio customers.

•Develop Govt compliant cost proposals to support defense projects and commercial projects.

•Manage the customer work breakdown (CWBS) setup maps to RFP compliance to bid commercial and govt jobs. My role supports all cost proposals, cost volumes and hands on pricing in Pro Pricer to bid elements of cost to be current accurate complete to RFP, CAS and contract type. Manage Govt threshold for TINA and exempt for commercial or competitive. Coordinate with all dept. functions for estimating and mgt. review.

•Lead Mgt. review of pricing and cost estimating, current material quotes, labor cost estimating by labor categories based on RGP requirements and job cost actuals, SME engineering estimates to bid new jobs. Lead finance reviews, summarize pricing, complete cost proposals, positive cash flow on fixed price. Support audit, negotiations to attain new bid awards.

May. 2018– Feb 2019: Meggitt Engine Composites: Proposal and Pricing Manager

Accomplishments: Pricing Mgr. for new 10 Year P.O. with 7 products ~$600M. Staff two.

•Dual role as Proposal Mgr. and Pricing Manager for complex FFP bids to prime contractors.

•Develop in Excel, compliant cost proposals for US military and winning commercial job bids.

•Lead cost proposals and the budgeting of project costs based on work breakdown task structure.

•Implement process to track bid life cycle, manage proposal schedules with PMs to conclusion.

•Coordinated project cost proposals. Lead major cost proposals from RFP to kickoff, pricing setup, hands-on Pro Pricer, cost estimating from project cost history, bid, fact find, negotiations.

•Lead F-35 aircraft low rate production, sustainment, and mission system cost proposals and worked with program managers to gain awards and setup budgets from proposals to the projects.

•Coordinate contract types, FFP, CPFF, T&M government program bids and commercial bids.

•RFP bid compliance, setup SOW mapped to WBS, schedule tasks to complete project estimate.

•Coordinate functional dept. cost estimating inputs for labor, BOM, subs, material, ODCs, travel.

Aug.1991-May 2004: Science Applications Int’l Corp. (SAIC): Financial Controller and Pricing Lead

Accomplishments: Lead cost accounting management, sales, cost of goods sold, gross margin profit analysis and the monthly- annual accounting closes and financial plans. Moved to Pricing Lead.

•Manager of accounting for business units in the company. Lead the sales and cost analysis along with the accounting period closes. Completed A/R and A/P analysis and materials, subcontractor accruals to close each month. Supervised accounting staff 4 people ensured work share allocated.

•Completed financial closing statements in accordance with GAAP and compliant for audits.

•Analyze SAP job cost data for accurate orders for sales, cost of good sold, gross margin profit, job work breakdown was billed accurately for the contract type from CPFF, T&M to FFP sales.
