Review driver candidate applications for job fit and compliance and conduct telephone interviews to evaluate skills for potential placement.

Calls the driver to thank them for applying to EVO and let them know that that the recruiter has completed their DQ file and that they are all set to move on in our process.

Let the driver know that she is the main contact for the driver until he/she is driving in our seat and provides her email and phone number so that the driver can call or communicate at any time.

Reviews all the next steps to complete the driver processing and onboarding including explaining the paperwork being sent and processing that does (postal badge, all paperwork).

Reviews the route details including the driver instructions with the driver to ensure that they understand the route detail and that it is the same route the recruiter processed and explained to the driver. Reinforces the details of the route that the recruiter reviewed with the driver. Asking the driver if anything will prevent them from getting the steps remaining completed. Reinforcing that this is the mail business and if there is there anything else that will prevent them from being on time and not showing up for work.

Schedule the Road Test and training via calendar with Trainer and copying the driver via calendar invite with all details as well as a regular email.

Confirms with the Planner that a road test is being scheduled and determine what the official start date with Planner will be if the Road Test being conducted by the Trainer/Safety ends up being a positive/pass result.

If pass result, contacts driver to reconfirm start date and schedule it in calendar via a calendar invite and via email with all pertinent details present to all key stakeholders including the driver.

Emails all key stakeholders and driver with all relevant details regarding onboarding the driver whether in person or remotely in some cases and follows up with phone calls the day before the onboarding to confirm a final time with the driver.
