Through an intensive selection process comprising of nearly one hundred hopefuls, I was chosen to be part of the multi-national team of Cabin Crew at Emirates Within 9 months spent in the Economy Class cabin, I was successful in my application to the First Class Class cabin. Main duties included:
• Fully responsible for in-flight management (Business or Economy) by managing all resources (time, product and people) and maintaining standards (safety, security and service) to ensure customer needs are met in that specific cabin.
• Well trained to serve dress trays and serve first/business class with utomst attention to detail.
• Able to work under pressure, tight schedules, maintining on time performance, making sure customers are greeted with a warm welcome and the boarding is smooth.
• Ensuring safety and security in the cabn, quick to respond to emergencies.
• Share responsibility with the crew to ensure safe and secure operation of the aircraft for the duration of the flight.
• Responsible for ensuring that timely, clear and open communication with the Crew and the Flight Deck is maintained throughout the flight.
• Ensure that customers are consistently provided with the highest quality of customer service through inspired management of crew members. Ensure customer complaints in the respective cabins are fully investigated, managed effectively, documented and appropriate service recovery is applied where applicable.
• Ensure all High Value Customers are personally welcomed and acknowledged in their specific cabins
• Provide guidance, direction and feedback to team members on performance to ensure standards are consistently met (customer, safety, security, team). Ensure Flight Reviews are completed to capture Cabin Crew performance and discussed with individual Cabin Crew member on-board.
