Human Resources Manager over Benefits Team of 3 direct reports and 1,850 employees in 11 states and 147 locations. Back up Human Resource Manager to the VP of Associate Support (HR).

• Developed policies and procedures to streamline programs creating more effective practices, resulting in 20% better employee response to programs offered.

• Managed legal contracts for annual benefits offering including validating demographic information on fully funded verses self-funded plans for each new product offering period. This was a four-month project which had a projected savings of over $100,000 per year.

• Presented new benefits programs to the Vice President, Controller and President annually for approval of selected offerings managing issues which would arise.

• Resolved complicated and sensitive personnel issues for higher level personnel, such as area manager, general manager or assistant manager in 147 locations.

• Resolved complicated benefits issues and maintained proper communication to the teams in the field.

• Responsible for 1095C Tax Reporting for all three years and maintained monthly documentation to support through reporting saving the company the fees of approximately $60,000 per year to maintain data and compliance.

• Managed the company website for benefits offerings, including design, communication with vendors, offerings selected, saving billable fees which would have been charged by the internet technology providers outside of the company. I created the first online experience for the employees allowing the employee and family members to access data via mobile and online technology and managed the file feeds and transfers. This project was a work over several months to implement and roll out. Employees loved it because they could access easily.
