Job Duties:

Working at a boarding hotel for pets we have several types of responsibilities that included being hands on with the pets and also maintaining the operational aspect of the boarding facility.

A lot of the times upon working with the pets we would take them on walks, let them outside in groups for play time, and would feed them breakfast lunch/ or dinner. Play groups often times were between 8-20 dogs per group and they would all be supervised to make sure that no dogs became aggressive and preventing any escalation leading to fight.

We checked dogs for over all health. Giving a thorough inspection making sure dogs didn't have any existing and current injuries or illnesses. If that was detected pet parents were contacted immediately upon discover.

Feeding time also included administering any medication a dog or cat were currently taking and upon check in to boarding the pets we had our clients sign a consent form that they agreed to release their pet under our care.

Any questions or concerns they had or we had we would immediately contact for information.

Some clients requested baths and one on one walks with a staff member. So if we read in there room card they needed special one on one time most times it meant that their pet didn't do well with other dogs and required time just with a human to take care of them and it excluded and play time from all other dogs. They mainly were walked 3-4 times a day throughout there stay and when requested by a client any dog that was green indicated the client paid for bath services and the dog would be bathed, nails cut and ears also cleaned upon customer pick up.
