Responsible for the recruitment and supervision of a diverse work force of over 90 employees. Serve as mediation between management and associates daily to resolve complaints/concerns. Ensure daily compliance of all laws as they relate to selection/hiring, promotion, discipline, wage and hour requirements, leave management and accommodations. Align workforce according to immediate and future company needs and goals. Oversee Workers Compensation filing, paperwork, and handle injury claims from beginning to end. Maintain compliance with local and federal laws. Conduct investigations for harassment, theft, complaints, etc. Oversee payroll functions and ensure accuracy. Make sure organization is in regulatory compliance.

Partner with directors to develop and implement talent management strategies to include workforce planning, business alignment, human resource reviews (HRR), recruitment and selection of key talent, succession planning, and knowledge transfer

Establish HR strategies to ensure the alignment with key business goals and overall organization strategies

Manage complex employee relations issues involving business conduct policies and compliance

Partner with directors to drive key elements of the talent management strategy, to include talent acquisition, succession planning, organizational dynamics, leadership development, and retention

Provide advice and guidance to managers on employee relations and performance management issues, ensuring a consistent level of service and approach is taken

Work with managers to ensure that we provide a safe work environment for employees

Skills:

Well-rounded and demonstrated HR skills, including but not limited to the areas of employee relations, compensation, training and development, staffing and workforce planning

Proficient with ADP Resources/payroll

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Able to effectively present data, analyses, etc. to a designated target audience

Ability to quickly establish productive and credible working relationships

Proactive, solution oriented; independently take initiative and recommend plans for improvement or new ways of thinking
