Dedicated, conscientious, and a proven strong advocate for children and families with 25+ years in elementary/middle school teaching and School Psychology services. K-12 services as a School Psychologist were within private, charter, and regular/special education populations. Nine years of classroom teaching to both regular and special needs Chapter One children in Louisiana was an excellent training ground for the 22 years of School Psychology services provided in the North Carolina schools. Specialized training and teaching expertise in Reading was beneficial in all settings. Training, supervision, and certification in Neuropsychological evaluations was utilized in the assessment and consultation of Traumatic Brain Injured students within the Exceptional Children’s program while a school psychologist. Comprehensive service delivery included being a regular participant in the pre-referral meetings with educators and an assessment interpreter and IEP team member within the schools served.
