Assisting critically ill patients in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) with activities of daily life as part of their total nursing care.

Provision of nursing care to patients with tracheotomies, including site dressing, suctioning when needed, and infection prevention.

Patients requiring enteral nutrition are fed by Nasogastric tubes, Nasojejunal tubes (NJT), Jejunostomy tubes (JEJ), Radiologically Inserted gastrostomy tubes (RIG), and Percutaneous endoscopic gastrostomy tubes (PEG).

Evaluating medical information and delivering direct and tailored bedside nursing care to pre- and post-surgery patients.

Changing dressings, inserting catheters, and commencing I.V fluids. Adjusting specialist medical equipment as needed, as well as analysing and documenting measurements.

Accident & Emergency Unit (ER)
