E XPERIENCE, C ONSTRUCTION MANAGEMENT

M.C. Contracting Inc.

May 2020 – March, 2021

Through my S Corporation, Sol Sierra Enterprises Inc., I consulted and assisted/collaborated with our team to complete all traditional Pre-Construction activities required to fulfill all City and County Permitting requirements and to formulate the Contract for related Construction, including all required amenities specified and designed for the Rock Cliff Manor Elderly Care Center on Makiki Stream in Honolulu, Hawaii. The Project Manager and myself, reviewed and resolved all constructability issues, designed each subcontractor’s scope and sequence and submitted and adjudicated all RFPs and RFIs in order to establish an accurate budget. We also began to price and source some of the early long-lead item materials to enhance the eventual buyouts of these materials. The Pre-Construction aspect of this project is nearing completion, and the project is due to begin in early August.

HK Construction

December 2019 – May -2020

As Superintendent/Supervisor of Construction, my duties included coordinating all phases of construction on up to 12 projects simultaneously. HK is a well- known Design/Build Contracting Firm who provides demolition of homes or buildings which are to be replaced, extensive renovation services for those to be transformed and new start-to finish construction for new homes and accompanying amenities. Because HK is largely a self-perform Contractor, it was my duty to schedule manpower crews, specialized tradesmen and the materials required to perform each phase of construction. I also coordinated and scheduled the various Subcontractors required to supplement HK’s in-house labor forces. Additionally, I supervised the Quality Control and Safety at each site. The projects all required specialized communication with the Architects and Clients to ensure Owner satisfaction and compliance with the intended design outcomes.

(Total contracts under construction = $10 million). 2.

We are also contracted to build a modern steel- framed office structure of over 2,000 square feet. Additionally, we will provide a complex set of structural steel stairs which will enable safe access to and proper maintenance of the large storage tank for all water distribution to the East Range as well. I have the unique responsibility for organizing each phase of construction, and to ensure that the projects are built to specifications and plans, on-time and within budget. Quality Control and Owner Satisfaction are always my goal as we approach each phase of Close Out. ( Total Contract Amount =$6 million). Unlimited Construction Services, Inc.
