This application is built on mainframes and has .NET based front end. ABS has IMS and DB2 for database and is coded in COBOL, JCL, CICS, IMSDB, IMSDC and CLIST. This application is responsible to collect premium information from the issue systems that issue personal insurance policies like Automobile Insurance, Homeowners Insurance, Personal Articles, Boat and Yacht Insurance. ABS stores this information in its databases and then produces printed and electronic bills for the customers. ABS is also responsible to collect the monthly premium amounts and to register this information in its database. ABS also handles Policy changes and cancellations.
