Humana Pharmacy (now CenterWell Pharmacy), Jan 2021 – June 2023

Program/Lead Project Manager – Consultant

Summary: Using ServiceNow PPM, SharePoint, and Office365 tools to manage several App/Dev, Cyber Security and infrastructure projects. Worked with various stakeholders at all levels to define requirements, identify risks and create a plan to successfully complete the objectives. Managed budgets between 2 million and 22 million dollars.

oManaged a Cyber security program to respond and mitigate vulnerabilities (IOP’s and VIT’s) for the TRAD, Specialty and Digital areas. Developed a program around the management and handling of Cyber-Security vulnerabilities and opportunities to improve overall security threats and risks for Humana’s enterprise as part of long term efforts and enterprise goals.

oSuccessfully managed a team of over 100 resources to rebrand Humana pharmacy to Centerwell Pharmacy for that organization. This included all applications and services within the Enterprise that needed various updates to reflect the new name and internet domains.

oManaged a project to roll out a Sales (using SalesForce CRM) and Provider Portal (using the Humana DHP platform) to help manage opportunities and interactions with CenterWell Pharmacy providers to improve sales and outcomes for their members.

oManaged initiative to convert over 10k Associates from @humana.com to @centewell.com which also involved a support process and mitigation plan for hundreds of applications and login services that would be impacted.

Summary: Using Microsoft applications and tools, and ServiceNow PPM, I successfully managed several projects that improved clinical processes for the Atlanta market and rolled out a new vision benefits delegate and process by which vision insurance could be managed more effectively for Caresource members. Managed budgets between 5 and 10 million dollars.

o Working with a matrixed team across multiple departments we successfully completed an initiative to delegate Medicaid Routine Vision benefits in the States of OH, IN and GA for Caresource members. This project constituted a cost savings of about 22 Million dollars per year. Responsible for all planning, scoping and organizing the various teams for the various work streams as part of the implementation activities. Leading all efforts and resources to achieve objectives and project goals.

oWorking within the GA Market; Provided Project Management, Business and IT expertise for GA Market Quality Initiatives in 2019 for the QI, Care4U, BH, and UM departments. oCompleted process improvement project that streamlined their P2P vendor management system. This included implementation of a contracting module within their enterprise.

oCompleted a Network Security implementation to help manage and secure the MSC internal network from outside connections on the LAN. This included upgrade of switches and internal network configurations.

oOversaw the discovery for implementing a Virtual Care Operations center program for Ascension Health. Led a team of 15 resources from Executive level to Support staff in assessing the ability to deploy a critical care nurse call center to support their Virtual Care program. This included development and design for internal infrastructure of the Call Center.

oUsing an Agile methodology, successfully led project to implement a new MS SQL ETL and Data Mart that provides the MSC and Ascension with important BI and Analytical reporting for measuring the KPI’s, and overall service performance for the Ascension Shared Services platform.

oLed two initiatives for development of interfaces between the Enterprise level ERP platform and the EMR systems of 3 hospitals to reduce costs and increase efficiency in day to day transactional processes. Teams were made up of Executive level management, Business SME’s, internal technical staff and vendor resources. Completed both projects on time, with high quality and within budget.

oLed an initiative to streamline processing of new requests for enhancements on the Symphony (Shared Services) platform.

oLed and assisted in several process development efforts for the PMO operations and SOP’s for Ascension Health’s MSC (Ministry Services Center) SSO.
