I enjoy camping, quadding (ATV.), fishing, hunting(making: sausage, jerky), gardening, photography. My newest interests are; making anniversary, birthday cards with the help of a program called- HP Creations and Fruit Art (swans- apples, flowers-oranges, and cantaloupe). I recently entered in a 2 ND annual recipe contest and I became a semi-finalist. (Contest is through Jenny Craig). I also got 2 of the 3 entries, published in their Jenny Craig Simple Inspirations Recipe Book 2nd Annual 2016 Winning Recipes. We have two grown children that live in Calgary. They both have taken a break from their studies at the University of Calgary. Robert- working with a Company that inspects Natural Gas Pressure Valves (working towards his certification). Melissa- was HR, and is training to be Dock Manager at a Trucking Transport Company (working towards her certification) We also have two cat-girls, Rasta and Holly. Our children thought it was a good idea to get pets when they moved away to University. Thanksgiving (2016), I have taught Holly, and I am still working on Rasta to use a cordless door bell (Pebble Smart- is made for dogs). When she wants to go out and in, Holly will step on the door bell (Rasta just waits for Holly). This has stopped them from scratching on the screen door (just had new doors installed Spring-2016). Guests are quite amazed at Holly and Rasta (working as a team).
