I have known Matthew for the past several years as he attended the following courses that I teach at our main campus: Video Recording and Editing, Lighting and Cinematography, Advanced Video Production, Advanced Video Editing, Compositing, Advanced Compositing, and Motion Graphics Portfolio.

As his instructor, I have had an opportunity to observe his participation and interaction in class and to evaluate Matthew’s knowledge of the subject matter. Matthew has proven that through hard work, follow through, and team work, he can accomplish tasks in a courteous and timely manner.

Matthew is a creative at heart. He has a vision for certain projects and will pursue it with a dogged determination even with limited resources. He has been working to bring portions of a feature film together. This has given him additional opportunities to work with a team who has rallied behind his goals. For him, this journey helps him refine his vision, make compromises where needed, and continue to see his imagined story come to life. Through this, he can rely on others’ technical abilities while he organizes and directs the overall tale. I can readily state that none of my other students are reaching for such goals.
