As a previous at-risk youth, turned college athlete, and basketball college scholarship recipient, I am versed in using athletics and body movement therapy to motivate, esteem build, and create a rapport with at-risk youth. I personally used athletics to develop discipline and consistency in my own life. I apply my own experience and that gained through my education in guidance counseling to help children to find purpose, structure, and faith in their own abilities and potential.
I am a sympathetic counselor who is dedicated to assisting clients in rediscovering their best selves. I collaborate with a treatment team to create and put into action successful programs for various patient groups. I have experience in building support systems for clients who are battling addiction and assisting patients while they go through rehabilitation. I am a member of National Association of Black Guidance Counselors.
