New Model Event Parts Coordinator October 2022 – Present

Coordinated move of the NM Parts Cage from offsite to SCM Mezzanine. This involved assisting AF (and other departments that store items in this space) in execution of an exit strategy while getting needed items from the existing offsite cage up to the SCM mezzanine.

Mapped out storage rack layout and labored to erect racking

Learned GCCS (for scanning parts in and managing inventory) and planning flexible Zone Locations

Coordinated with outside contractor to modify the cargo lift to the mezzanine to have 2 upstairs access gates

Involved with the 1st Power Sports Simulation Build of a future model held @ SCM

Organized, inventoried and packed out all parts by delivery zone for each New Model Prototype Build Event.

Duties included Ordering, Tracking, Expediting Supplier Production, Expediting Transportation, EDI Issues, Late Shipments, Late BOM/Color Charts, QC Event Documents, Cost Discrepancies, and on occasion, being Expedited Transportation to deliver child parts (Kan Ban/KD) and pick up Level 1 parts from local suppliers

Pivoted relevant BOM info into Advanced Delivery Notifications (MTOC matrix) for suppliers for QC Events

Updated work instructions and trained three of my teammates on O&D Team

Retrieved cost and managed cost exceptions for QC Event cost rollup

New Model Packaging & Mass Pro Returnable Container Logistics (RCC) August 2016 – May 2019 (2.75 yrs)

Created and managed PIFs (Packaging Information Forms) for NM parts

Created an improved Excel Load Sheet for all outbound RCC shipments (still in use today)

Oversaw & reported Consolidation Center (CC) team performance for two shifts (worked split shift 6 mo.)

Facilitated a daily white board meeting between RCC, CC, & trucking co. to identify and countermeasure previous day’s activity; analyzing short & missed shipments, pack efficiency, lineside packaging issues

Managed container inventory in a 15-day loop; comparing gap analysis to projected need to legitimate use of alternative packaging to available container inventory

Created visual management board for all container types and correct stack heights for CC safety and maximum trailer loading efficiency

Continually changed RCC floorplan to adapt to new container types, influx of new replacement containers and Supplier Specific Dunnage for maximum efficiency

Eliminated obsolete/damaged dunnage, modified existing dunnage and installed new dunnage into containers

Repaired broken containers most Saturdays for 2 years
