Principal RF/Wireless Communication Engineer, member of the multidiscipline team working to determine the feasibility of Spectrum Sharing between DOD Radar systems and Commercial 5G systems in the 3100-3450 MHz band. This included developing and modeling the incumbent Federal Systems; modeling future and planned uses of the band (3GPP based 5G systems), conducting a Baseline Analysis and developing various Courses of Action (COA’s) to assess spectrum sharing opportunities in the band. • Modeling of Incumbent Federal Radar Systems consisting of Air, ground and marine based systems in RFA.

• Modeling of the planned use for the 3100 – 3450 MHz band focusing on the 3GPP based 5G Systems in RFA

• Developing, running and evaluating the Baseline System which included 1. making a determination of the geographic- Time and Frequency separation requirements per system, and 2. Identifying the extend of acceptable interference level requiring mitigation using Spectrum Sharing COA’s (course of Action) developed under PATHSS.
