Pursuring a major project on POWER QUALITY ENHANCEMENT IN PHOTO

VOLTAIC USING DYNAMIC VOLTAGE RESTORER at K.S.Rangasamy

college of Technology.

The main objective of this project is to overcome the problem of voltage sag and voltage

swell. The voltage sag is a sudden reduction of supply voltage. The voltage swell is a

sudden rise of supply voltage. The voltage sag and voltage swell problem gives result in

damage of equipment. The main components are PV array or Solar Panel, Maximum

Power Point Tracker (MPPT), Dynamic Voltage Restorer (DVR), Sliding Mode

Controller (SMC), H- Bridge multilevel inverter, DC-DC Inverter. The Dynamic voltage

restorer includes Energy Storage devices (Battery), Inverter, Coupling transformer.

Expected outcome of this project is the voltage generated value must be higher than the

normal value. The disturbances of voltage swell and sag are compensated.

Mini project on Solar Energy Conservation from renewable energy sources.
