- Manage the implant processes, conduct training for hospital’s personnel, collaborate with the health care team and outside agencies.

- Applies, policies, precedents, regulatory, licensing, and accrediting requirements to establish, monitor, and maintain the specialized implants.

- Maintain process control in a specialty area and adherence to implant and tissue management procedure, policies, and procedures.

- Oversees Computerized Patient Record System

- Maintains the Implant Management Program for the facility, including but not limited to the OR and all of its services

- Collaborates with surgical professional prior to surgical procedure to assure that all implants and supplies are available.

- Promote effective communication skills and professional behaviors among health care team members that promote cooperation, teamwork, and effective interaction with internal and external customers.

● Preceptor and an Educator for new team members including experienced nurses, new graduates, ICU heart nurses and new graduates, ICU heart nurses and nursing and medical students
