Schedule: 4 days on, 8 days off on a rotating schedule (96 hours on and 192 hours off) Duties and Responsibilities:
• Respond to Reeves County 911 calls
• Provide an immediate course of treatment en-route to hospital or at the scene based on standing orders
• Use technical equipment, including ventilators, defibrillators, VLS, EZ IO to treat and stabilize patients
• Carry out certain critical care procedures, such as intubation, RSI, DSI, surgical airway, pneumothorax decompression, field antibiotics, and io insertion
• Monitor the patient's condition using Zoll X series
• Liaise with members of other emergency services
• Work closely with doctors and nurses in hospital and emergency departments
• Deal with members of the public and family members present at the scene
• Clean, decontaminate and check vehicles and equipment to maintain a state of operational readiness
Job Requirements and Qualifications:
